The core target audience of the film would probably be men aged 18-30 years old. We checked if this was correct by searching on BBFC.co.uk it made it easier for our group to classify what criteria was appropriate for our film, although we couldnt choose between 15 or an 18, after reading each criteria we agreed on an 18 rating. This is because our film consists of Violence that may be strong and dwell on the infliction of pain or injury, agressive language and drugs.
Fans of action and violence would also enjoy a film such as ‘Time Out of Mind’ as it contains a mix of violence blood and hostility. It’s combined with original day-to-day people, showing the consequences they have to pay for doing wrong and getting involved with the wrong people.
We chose this genre because we thought it would include lots of suspense and frequent action, our film is very mysterious but is distinguished later on by the plot structure.
